A few of us tested this out last night and it seems to be working, yay! I created a Kender and he looked so good I felt the need to check my wallet. So if you need information about how to create a character based on one of the races of Kyrnn, such as, Kender, Hobgoblin, Minotaur, Kagonesti Elf, etc, then contact DM Katdoral, or post your questions here. how possible would it be to play a goblin shaman? i was thinking of creating a halfling character, sub-race goblin, and ask if you could leto him as a goblin shaman/cleric. he'd be a wizard in gameply. i knoe gnomes are natural wizzies but, figured a halfling might make it more difficult play-wise? if it's ok, look in red deuce's char. folder and leto appearance of braxxus. ty,
mark / reddeuce.
p.s.: please just leto his appearance to that of a goblin shaman, if leto his race to goblin, folks wouldn't buy or sell to him and he'd be unplayable. i am NOT aski' to make goblin merchants n such, too much work. ty very much.

that's a small part of the curse of being schizophrenic, i think. hopefully, one day, braxxus will control his own clan of gobbo's and show the world what 'overwhelming force' can be. he's wanting to bevery prolific, heh.

Actually the Guard Script, which determines hostile races, looks at the Base Race, not the Subrace, so a Goblin Character should not have any problems in the Shops. Any conflict that way would be through RP.
The biggest issue would be the Appearance. If you did this the character would look like a Goblin Shaman always. The only thing that will change is the weapon. You will not be able to change the look of armour, cloak, etc. We've had this issue with folks who want to play Minotaurs and Hobgoblins too. Now, there is a head type in the Appearance inventory that sort of looks like a Goblin/Orc. We could leave the Appearance as a Halfling and allow you to craft the head the way you want it. You do this through the Crafting System.

I tried changing appearance of the head but, there's at least 30 heads that don't show for me. I wouldn't mind having the appearance of a shaman, heh,..would help remind me he isn't welcome in most places.

I think she meant the helmet, not your head. Animal and misc appearances are a just after the hooded appearance that all the mages use.
